In the first bar scene of WYSIWYG we use a series of segues to get from the joyful drinking game to the imaginary worlds found in the characters minds'. Here's a link to a standard libretto extract for the WYSIWYG bar scene segues (opens a new window). The scene includes the four main characters, but this master track will allow you to get acclimated to the scene with just one voice.
Once you have a sense for the scene you can download this musical score extract to get started learning the music. It's a great little six minute segment to perform for a back to school project, audition or forensic competition. It's even Covid friendly since it's pretty easy to do it all remotely. Good Luck and please send us your recording and/or tag us so everyone can enjoy your performance! Finally, if you don't have a piano player you'll need the rehearsal track from our Soundcloud account.
